Hana AMT participated in the Semiconductor Exhibition (SEDEX 2020) held at COEX from October 27 to 30 to introduce glass interposer for semiconductors and display metal materials dedicated to 3D printing.

Hana AMT specializes in producing metal powders used in 3D printing and is the only company in Korea that produces magnesium and aluminum powders.
Accordingly, a differentiated system that comprehensively deals with various powders is being established to present a total solution for metal powders used in 3D printing.
In particular, Hana AMT introduced the production technology of glass interposer for semiconductors at this exhibition. An interposer is a component that is inserted into a finely processed chip and a printed circuit board to reduce the circuit width between each other.
Unlike silicon, which has been mainly used in interposer production, glass materials have the advantage of not only reducing electrical loss at high frequencies but also securing price competitiveness in mass production. As a result, Hana AMT has become more competitive with improved glass quality by acquiring AS9100D and ISO 13485 certification.
Hana AMT's glass etching is used to manufacture glass processing technology, DNA chip platform, Encap glass for OLED, penetrating glass, anti-glare, through-hole, and cavity glass.
